{"id":313,"date":"2019-09-12T19:18:28","date_gmt":"2019-09-12T19:18:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.dwi.ufl.edu\/projects\/technosphere\/?p=313"},"modified":"2019-09-12T19:18:28","modified_gmt":"2019-09-12T19:18:28","slug":"anastasia-pantazopoulou","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.dwi.ufl.edu\/projects\/technosphere\/index.php\/2019\/09\/12\/anastasia-pantazopoulou\/","title":{"rendered":"Anastasia Pantazopoulou"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p> The Intersections Doctoral Student Mini-Grant has afforded me so far the opportunity to participate in the DH@Guelph Workshop, <em>The Work that Stories Do in the World:\u00a0 Digital Storytelling for Research, Education, and Change<\/em> which was held in May 7<sup>th<\/sup>-10<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019 at the University of Guelph, in Ontario Canada. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Workshop gave me a hands-on experience with the possibilities that digital storytelling offers in research, education, and especially in shaping individual and communal identities as a form of community engagement, a key point of my own research. During the workshop I was also trained in using the <em>Final Cut Program<\/em> to edit digital stories and work on my own digital story having spent a day writing my script, recording it, and taking footage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find my digital story, which &#8220;narrates&#8221; the story of Helen of Troy (mostly as presented in Euripides&#8217; tragedy, <em>Helen<\/em>) through a series of questions and statements that reflect on the impact of space and rumors\/opinions\/labels on one&#8217;s identity, in the following video: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/356253835?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"525\" height=\"295\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen title=\"Helen?
